NPR Rates Camping a Low Risk
NPR talked to public health experts and asked them to rate the risk of some of the most popular summer activities, from backyard gatherings to beach vacations. Camping was rated a low risk activity! Rebecca Katz, director of the Center for Global Health Science and Security at Georgetown University Medical Center, said, “As far as summer activities go, this is least risky from a virus perspective.” That means Smoky Mountain camping is the perfect way to spend your summer vacation!
