Where Should You Stay at Our Smoky Mountain Campground?
At Pigeon River Campground, we take pride in offering a variety of camping styles for our guests. Not everyone wants to have the same camping experience, and we want to be able to accommodate everyone at our campground! That’s why we have tent pads, RV sites, and even camping cabins, along with a variety of campground amenities. Wondering which camping style is right for you? Here’s where you should stay at our Smoky Mountain campground:
For a Classic Camping Experience
When you’re looking for a classic camping experience, choose one of our tent campsites! We have tent pads available that are 12’ by 12’. Plus, we also have group tent pads available! Our tent sites are perfect for those who want to escape the traditional vacation experience and enjoy the simple life in the Smokies. Pitch a tent and sleep underneath the starry Smoky Mountain sky for a night! Our tent pads also offer access to our incredible campground amenities, including a seasonal outdoor pool, a general store, a laundry room, and WiFi at our pavilion. We also offer river access and have a put-in and take-out for private boaters and fishermen. You’ll love being able to enjoy a traditional camping experience at our campground!
When You Don’t Want to Sleep Outside
If you’re still interested in a classic camping experience but don’t want to sleep outside, you’ll love our RV campsites! They come with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation in your RV. You’ll still have access to all our campground amenities and be able to enjoy the great outdoors, but you’ll have the benefit of all the amenities in your RV as well! Our RV campsites are next to the Pigeon River and include water and sewer hook-ups, 20, 30, and 50 amp hook-ups, and a fire ring and picnic table at every site. We have 12 50’-60’ back-in RV sites available!
When You Want the Best of Both Worlds
When you want to enjoy a mix of camping and staying in a cabin rental, then the camping cabins at our Smoky Mountain campground are the best option. Our rustic camping cabins have one room that can sleep 5 guests and come with a variety of amenities, including air-conditioning and heat, a refrigerator, a microwave, an indoor table and chairs, and a covered front porch facing the river with chairs. There is also a picnic table, charcoal grill, fire pit, and private bathrooms located at the nearby pool area! You’ll love the luxury of sleeping inside on a bed with air conditioning while still getting to enjoy the great outdoors. It truly is the best of both worlds! We have 6 total riverside cabins at our campground in the Smoky Mountains.
