Our lovely campground is not only surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Smokies but has tons of recreational activities for your family to enjoy throughout your vacation. Here are 4 fun recreational activities you can enjoy at our Smoky Mountain campground this summer:
1. Swimming Pool
One of the highlights of our campground is our refreshing swimming pool that feels wonderful on a warm summer afternoon! When the weather is hot, just head over for a dip in the pool and splash around with your family and friends. The pool is 4 feet deep all the way around so everyone from kids to grandparents can enjoy cooling off after a fun filled day of outdoor activities. If you want to lounge in the sun and soak up some rays, there is a large tanning deck available for your use! You will also find plenty of tables and chairs covered by umbrellas for those who prefer to be in the shade.
Our Smoky Mountain campground features a volleyball area where you can play an exciting game of volleyball with your family members! Create your own tournament or just have fun hitting the ball back and forth over the net! This common recreational area provides an opportunity to meet other campers too who might want to join in on the game. We also have several other fun games, such as cornhole and horseshoes. Teach your kids how to play a new game and have a blast enjoying the unique atmosphere of our campground!
Summer is the perfect season for fishing in the Smokies, so you will love our location directly on the Pigeon River! You will find an abundance of trout and smallmouth bass fish as you wander along the river bank. If you want to head out on your boat, our Smoky Mountain campground offers boat access so you can easily get your boat in and out of the water. We have a convenient put-in and take-out for private boaters and fishermen, so you can spend all the time you want fishing in the river!
Our campground has the perfect place to take a stroll where you can fully enjoy the sights of the river and the delightful scents of the forest. As you hike around our campground, be sure to wave to the folks who are white water rafting and enjoying other activities on the river!
