4 Fun Night Activities to Do at Our Campground in the Smoky Mountains
When the sun sets after another action-packed day in the Smokies, this doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! In fact, the evening hours are often some of the most memorable times when you stay at our campground! After cooking up a delicious dinner on the grill at your campsite, wind down in the evening with all types of fun activities. Here are just 4 fun activities to do at night at our campground in the Smoky Mountains:
1. Gaze at the Stars
One of the fun activities you can do at night at our campground in the Smoky Mountains is stargazing! Since we’re miles away from the closest city, there is no light pollution to affect the night sky, allowing you to see the stars sparkle as you never have before, so keep an eye out for shooting stars, constellations, and other celestial wonders! You can bring a star chart with you to help identify the popular constellations or try to find them on your own. Don’t forget to bring along a pair of binoculars too. You’ll be amazed at how the moon looks on a clear night!
2. Make S’mores

3. Tell Ghost Stories
After preparing your campfire for the evening, gather your family and friends around to tell ghost stories! After all, there is nothing like hearing a spooky ghost story as the fire crackles and darkness creeps over the Smokies! You can read up on some stories before your vacation or use your imagination to come up with some of your own! Of course, you don’t have to worry because there have never been any real ghosts spotted at our campground.
4. Share Laughs with Your Family and Friends
